今も芸者文化の残る浅草観音裏をサウンドウォークを聴きながらな街歩きをし、老舗料亭で食事をする、キャスト・スタッフが一切登場しない、コロナ禍だからこその非接触なアート作品を発表。2022年、飲食店では「黙食」が日常の一部として根付きつつありました。また、エンターテインメントの世界でも、同じ場所・時間に人が集まることが出来ず、理想のパフォーマンスが出来ない状況が続いていました。これまで「食・ダンス・空間」をテーマに作品を生み出してきたdaisydozeとして、そんな状況を少しでも解決したいという想いから、「黙って食べる＝“黙食”」の時間を「没入して食べる＝“没食”(ぼつしょく)」というアート体験としてポジティブに転換。イントロダクションとして街を歩き、飲食店で“黙食”をしながら、その街を舞台にした映像作品を楽しむ形式にすることで、同じ場所・時間に集まることなく、ウィズコロナ時代でも持続可能で没入できるアート作品を目指して制作しました。

This show is specifically made for COVID-19 situation, no performers and staffs will appear in any way as they walk the streets of Asakusa Kannon-ura, where geisha culture still remains, while listening to a sound walk, and dine at a long-established ryotei restaurant. Since 2022, because of the pandemic, "silent eating" was becoming a part of everyday life in restaurants. Also in the entertainment world, people could not gather at the same place and time, and ideal performances were not possible. Our project is a positive transformation of "eating in silence" into an art experience called "immersive eating" (没食). The aim was to create an artwork that is sustainable and immersive even in the age of With-COVID, without having to gather in the same place and at the same time.
